Another fascinating thing I’d never considered!

The world’s largest volcanic island is on a lake, on a larger island, on a larger lake, on another (bigger) island.

On  the west side of Luzon Island, in the Philippines, lies Taal Lake.  In Taal like lies Crater Island.

On Crater Island lies Crater Lake.  (And you thought that was in Oregon!  D’oh!)  On Crater Lake is a little island, named Vulcan Point.

Add this to the places I hope to visit.
